Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1/2 pt
- margarine - 1/2 c
- cream of chicken soup - 1 c
- pimento - 2 tsp
- yellow squash
- large carrot, grated - 1 item
- crumb type herb stuffing mix - 8 oz
How to make squash casserole:
Preheat oven to 375°. Boil, drain and cool squash. Mix in carrot, pimento and sour cream. Add salt and pepper to taste. Melt margarine and mix with stuffing mix. Place 1/2 of mixture on bottom of 2-quart casserole. Add squash mixture, top with rest of stuffing. Bake 30 minutes. Serves 8.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
