Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- margarine, melted - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
- cooked mashed squash - 2 c
- Mix remaining ingredients with squash
How to make squash casserole:
Saute onion and green pepper in 1 tablespoon margarine until tender. Mix remaining ingredients with squash. Pour into greased baking dish. Spread topping on mixture. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until brown.Topping:1/2 c. Ritz cracker crumbs1/2Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
