Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c
- yellow squash - 2 c
- herb seasoned bread crumbs - 1 item
How to make squash casserole:
Mash cooked squash and add onion, soup, sour cream, salt and pepper. Butter casserole dish generously and sprinkle layer of crumb mixture on bottom. Add squash mixture and top with crumb mixture and grated cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
