Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- stick butter or oleo - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- carrot - 1 item
- yellow summer squash
- Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned stuffing mix - 1/2 pkg
How to make squash casserole:
Cut up squash; add onion and simmer until tender. Grate carrot; add to squash with soup and sour cream. Mix well. Melt butter and pour over stuffing cubes. Line casserole dish with buttered cubes, reserving some for top. Pour in squash mixture, add top cubes; bake in 350° oven for approximately 1/2 hour.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
