Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- stick butter, melted - 1/2 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- cooked, mashed squash - 2 c
- large skillet of cornbread, crumbled - 1 item
- large green pepper and onion - 1 item
How to make squash casserole:
Crumble cornbread; mix with melted butter. Cook squash with onion and green pepper. Mash squash. Add sour cream, soup and sugar. Put 1/2 of cornbread mixture in the bottom of the pan. Add the squash mixture and the rest of cornbread on top. Bake at 350° for 30 or 40 minutes, or until brown.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
