Squash casserole



  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • stick butter, melted - 1/2 item
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • cooked, mashed squash - 2 c
  • large skillet of cornbread, crumbled - 1 item
  • large green pepper and onion - 1 item

How to make squash casserole:

Crumble cornbread; mix with melted butter. Cook squash with onion and green pepper. Mash squash. Add sour cream, soup and sugar. Put 1/2 of cornbread mixture in the bottom of the pan. Add the squash mixture and the rest of cornbread on top. Bake at 350° for 30 or 40 minutes, or until brown.
