Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 8 oz
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- to 6 yellow squash or 1 large zucchini - 5 item
- frosted flakes or corn flakes crumbs - 1 c
- sugar if corn flakes are used - 2 Tbsp
How to make squash casserole:
Cut yellow or zucchini squash in chunks into a 2-quart casserole. Add sour cream, chicken soup and cheese. Mix frosted flakes or corn flakes crumbs with butter; sprinkle on top of casserole. Bake in a 350° oven until squash is tender.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
