Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- cooked squash, drained - 1 pkg
- onion optional; cook onion and squash together - 1/4 c
- grated cheese or less - 2 c
How to make squash casserole:
Melt butter. Mix with flour. Add milk. Stir in the ingredients above and put in casserole dish. Cover with cracker crumbs and bake at 350° about 45 minutes, until bubbly and brown.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
