Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- small jar pimentos - 1 item
- large onion - 1 item
- squash
- Pepperidge Farm dressing mix - 1 pkg
- enough butter to grease baking dish - 1 item
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash and onion in salted water. Drain and mash. Add remaining ingredients, reserving 1/2 the dressing mix for topping. Line casserole with remaining dressing mix. Fill with squash mixture. Cover with reserved mix. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes. Yields 8 servings.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
