Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- cream of chicken soup - 1 c
- yellow squash - 2 lb
- corn bread stuffing - 1 pkg
- minced medium onion - 1 item
- carrot, minced fine - 1 item
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash until tender; drain. Add onion and carrot to squash; add the sour cream. Melt margarine and mix with 1/2 of corn bread stuffing. Reserve 1/2 for top. Place squash mixture in casserole dish. Put reserved stuffing on top, then the cup of soup on top of stuffing. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
