Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 oz
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • yellow squash - 2 lb
  • large carrot, grated - 1 item
  • jar pimento, chopped - 1 oz

How to make squash casserole:

Cook squash, drain and mash. Season with salt and pepper. Add other ingredients, except herb dressing and butter. Melt butter in oblong casserole dish. Stir in 3/4 of herb dressing mix. Mix until butter is absorbed. Combine with squash mixture. Pour into casserole dish and cover with herb dressing. Cover and bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
