Ingredients/Components

  • melted margarine - 1/2 c
  • beaten eggs - 2 item
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 3/4 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • mayonnaise - 1/2 c
  • medium onion, sliced - 1 item
  • or 7 large squash, cross sliced - 6 item
  • Pepperidge Farm cornbread crumbs - 3/4 c

How to make squash casserole:

Cook sliced squash and onions until tender. Mix eggs and mayonnaise with drained squash and onions. Top with shredded cheese and then buttered crumbs. Bake at 350° in casserole dish.
