Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- American cheese - 2 c
- large onion - 1 item
- cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- squash - 1 lb
- Pepperidge Farm stuffing - 3 c
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash and onion together until tender; drain and smash. Add cheese, milk and butter. Add eggs, salt and pepper. You can add cream of mushroom soup, if you like. Sprinkle stuffing on bottom of dish, then pour mixture on top. Make 3 layers. For top layer, sprinkle stuffing on top, melt some margarine and pour on top of stuffing.
