Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
- saltine crackers, crushed - 20 item
- summer squash - 1 lb
How to make squash casserole:
Boil squash until tender; drain and mash. Add butter, salt and pepper, crackers, egg and milk. Pour into greased dish and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 425° for 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
