Ingredients/Components
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- green pepper chopped - 1 item
- medium onion chopped - 1 item
- tablespoon sugar - 1 item
- stick butter or margarine melted - 1 item
- cups crumbled cornbread - 4 item
- cups yellow squash, cooked and drained - 2 item
- cup sour cream or 1 cup plain nonfat yogurt - 1 item
How to make squash casserole:
Mix crumbled cornbread with melted butter. Spread half of cornbread mixture in casserole. Combine all other ingredients and place in casserole. Cover with remaining cornbread. Make at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
