Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 Tbsp
- bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- slices bacon - 6 item
- mashed cooked squash - 2 c
How to make squash casserole:
Preheat oven to 350°. Cook bacon until crisp. Crumble. Saut?© onion in margarine. Mix bacon, onion, squash, salt, pepper and cheese. Spoon into greased 2-quart baking dish. Top with bread crumbs. Bake until browned. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
