Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- grated carrots - 1 c
- margarine - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- mashed squash - 2 c
- bread crumbs I use cornbread - 1 item
How to make squash casserole:
Butter a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish and sprinkle a layer of bread crumbs on bottom. Combine rest of ingredients and place on top of bread crumbs. Top with bits of butter and cover with bread crumbs. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
