Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream
- stick butter - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese
- yellow squash - 2 lb
- onion medium onion
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash and onion together until tender. Drain water from squash and mix with sour cream and soup. Set aside.Mix stuffing mix with melted butter. Place 1/2 of stuffing mix in 2-quart casserole dish. Pour squash mixture on top of stuffing mix. Sprinkle remainder of stuffing mix on top of squash mixture. Bake, covered, at 375° for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese. Return to oven until cheese melts.
