Ingredients/Components

  • squash - 2 lb
  • carrot, grated fine - 1 item
  • chopped pimentos - 2 tsp
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • sour cream - 8 oz
  • Pepperidge Farm herb dressing green bag - 1 pkg
  • stick margarine - 1 item

How to make squash casserole:

Cook squash, onion, salt and pepper and butter until tender; drain. Melt margarine and mix with 1/2 of dressing and other ingredients. Mix the other 1/2 of the dressing with 1 stick margarine and mix separately. Spoon squash mixture into greased casserole dish. Top with remaining dressing and margarine mixture. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
