Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1/2 pt
- stick margarine - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can sliced water chestnuts - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 c
- squash, cooked and mashed - 3 c
- Pepperidge Farm dressing mix blue package - 1 pkg
How to make squash casserole:
Mix squash, sour cream, soup, onion and water chestnuts. Melt margarine and pour 1/2 in large baking dish. Spread over bottom. Sprinkle 1/2 of dressing mix on top of butter. Pour in squash mixture. Layer with remaining dressing mix and then remaining butter. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
