Spring salad
Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1 c
- large marshmallows - 16 item
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- carton Cool Whip - 1 oz
- medium can crushed pineapple, drain, but save juice - 1 item
How to make spring salad:
Melt marshmallows with milk in a double boiler. Mix cream cheese and dry lemon Jell-O. Combine nuts, pineapple and mayonnaise; add to the marshmallow mixture. Cool, then fold in Cool Whip.Dissolve lime Jell-O in 1 cup hot water. Add pineapple juice and enough cold water to make another cup. Pour this on top of the salad when it is cool.
