Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • self-rising flour - 4 c
  • warm water - 2 c
  • dry yeast - 1 pkg

How to make spoon rolls:

Dissolve yeast in warm water, using a spoon. Mix remaining ingredients together. You can make up batter ahead of time and then bake. Grease muffin pan and fill about half full. Bake at 425° for around 20 minutes.

Note: Mixture will be soupy and will not need to rise.
