Ingredients/Components
- egg - 1 item
- cup sugar - 1/4 item
- cups self rising flour - 4 item
- cup melted shortening - 3/4 item
- package dry active yeast - 1 item
- cups lukewarm water - 2 item
How to make spoon rolls:
Dissolve yeast in water, then mix all other ingredients in large bowl. Add yeast, mix well. Store covered in refrigerator with cloth. Use as desired.Spoon batter into well greased muffin tins. Bake at 425° for 20 minutes. Will keep in refrigerator up to 5 days.
