- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- cold water - 2 c
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- corn meal - 1 c
How to make spoon bread:
Bring to a boil corn meal, water and salt. Take off stove; add eggs well beaten. Add milk, melted margarine and mix well. Pour into greased baking dish. Cook at 375° for 45 minutes to 1 hour until brown on top.Recipe categories: Breads, < 15 mins, Side dish.
