  • salt - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • egg whites - 6 item
  • lemon juice - 2 tsp
  • cup flour - 2 item
  • cup sugar - 1/2 item
  • 1/2 cup sugar - 1 item
  • eggs - separated - 6 item
  • cup warm milk - 3/4 item

How to make sponge cake:

Beat egg yolks slightly. Add milk and slowly add 1 1/2 cup sugar. Mix well and add dry ingredients slowly. Beat egg whites until stiff. Beat in 1/2 cup sugar. Add lemon juice. Fold into cake batter gently. Turn into grease tube pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Turn pan upside down for 10 minutes and remove pan.
