Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- plain flour
- eggs at room temperature - 3 item
- 1/2 sticks margarine - 1 item
How to make sponge cake:
Cream fat and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until mixture is smooth and creamy. Sift flour and baking powder and stir into mixture. Gently place in 8 or 9-inch greased and floured tin and bake for 30 minutes at 360°. Split along centre when cool and sandwich with jam and whipped cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Egg.
