Spiral cinnamon rolls
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
- all-purpose flour, divided
- egg - 1 item
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1/4 c
- raisins optional - 1/2 c
- sifted powdered sugar - 1 c
- sugar - 1/4 c
- butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
- warm water - 1/4 c
- butter or margarine, softened - 2 Tbsp
- ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- butter or margarine, melted - 1 Tbsp
How to make spiral cinnamon rolls:
Combine 1/4 cup milk, sugar, salt and 3 tablespoons butter in a saucepan. Heat until butter melts. Cool to 105° to 115°. Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large mixing bowl. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in milk mixture, 1 1/2 cups flour and eggs.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Healthy.
