Spinach salad
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vinegar - 2 tsp
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- hard-cooked eggs, chopped - 3 item
- finely chopped onion - 1/2 c
- finely chopped celery - 1/2 c
- Tabasco - 1/2 tsp
- grated Cheddar or Longhorn cheese - 1 c
How to make spinach salad:
In large bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, salt, Tabasco and vinegar. Squeeze moisture from spinach. Add spinach, eggs, celery, onion and cheese; mix well. Store overnight in refrigerator so flavors will marry. Makes eight 1/2-cup servings.Recipe categories: American, Salads, North american.
