Spinach salad
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar
- vinegar - 1/3 c
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- fresh spinach, torn - 2 qt
- small onion, thinly sliced - 1 item
- ketchup - 1/3 c
- fresh bean sprouts - 2 c
- hard-cooked eggs, chopped - 4 item
- slices bacon, fried and crumbled - 6 item
- sliced water chestnuts, drained - 8 oz
How to make spinach salad:
Dressing:1/2 c. brown sugar1/2 c. salad oil1/3 c. vinegar1/3 c. ketchup1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Dressing: Combine in bottle or jar. Shake to mix well. Set aside.In large bowl, toss all salad ingredients. Just before serving, pour dressing over salad and toss. Serves 8.
