Spinach salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- salad oil
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- ketchup - 1/3 c
- can water chestnuts, drained and sliced - 1 item
- onion, grated - 1 item
- hard-boiled eggs, sliced - 2 item
- can bean sprouts, drained - 1 item
- slices bacon, fried crisp - 5 item
- or 10 oz - 1 lb
How to make spinach salad:
Dressing:1 c. salad oil1/2 c. sugar1/4 c. vinegar1/3 c. ketchup1 tsp. salt1 onion, grated1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Thoroughly combine dressing ingredients. Tear spinach into bite-size pieces and add other ingredients. Add dressing just before serving. If using 10-ounce package spinach you will not want to use all of the dressing.
