Ingredients/Components
- bag spinach - 1 (10
- can Mandarin oranges, drained - 1 oz
- slivered almonds - 3 c
- Tear into bite size pieces
- vinegar - 1/3 c
- onion, finely chopped - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- drops Tabasco sauce - 4 item
- olive oil - 1 c
- sesame seed, toasted - 2 3
How to make spinach mandarin salad:
Wash and dry spinach. Tear into bite size pieces. Add oranges and almonds and toss with dressing.Dressing:2/3 c. sugar1/3 c. vinegar2 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped1/2 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce1/4 tsp. paprika4 drops Tabasco sauce1 c. olive oil2 to 3 Tbsp. sesame seed, toasted Combine sugar and vinegar. Blend in onion, salt, Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, paprika and Tabasco. Gradually add oil and beat with rotary beater until thick. Chill.
