Spinach loaf
Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- pkg - 1 oz
- flour
- chopped onion - 1 c
- medium eggs - 3 item
- cream or milk - 1/2 c
- butter, at room temperature - 1 c
- Parmesan cheese optional - 1 item
- diced ham optional - 1 c
- nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
How to make spinach loaf:
In a large bowl, knead together (like making pie crust dough) all ingredients except the spinach. Mix quickly. When well mixed, add spinach and knead well. Butter loaf pan or use foil and pat the mixture into it. Bake in a preheated 400° oven for 30 minutes. The loaf is done when the crust forms on the surface.
