Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 1 c
  • butter or margarine - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • eggs, beaten - 3 item
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • Monterey Jack cheese, shredded - 1 lb
  • minced onion optional - 1/4 c
  • clove minced garlic optional - 1 item

How to make spinach and cheese squares:

Preheat oven to 350°. Melt butter in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Combine and set aside spinach and cheese. Combine rest of ingredients and add the spinach and cheese mix. Blend well. Stir into butter in pan. Bake 35 minutes at 350°. Cool 10 minutes. Cut into 1-inch squares. Serve warm.
