Spicy spaghetti
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- pkg - 1 lb
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- bay leaf - 1 item
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- oregano - 1/8 tsp
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- olive oil - 1 Tbsp
- basil leaves - 1/2 tsp
- thyme leaves - 1/4 tsp
- chopped parsley - 1/4 c
- seasoned salt - 1 tsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- crushed red pepper - 1/8 tsp
- marjoram - 1/4 tsp
- dry bread crumbs - 2 Tbsp
- ground pork - 1/2 lb
- fennel seed, crushed - 1/2 tsp
- can whole tomatoes, cut undrained - 1 oz
How to make spicy spaghetti:
In medium bowl, combine first 8 ingredients and mix well. Shape 12 meatballs. In oven, brown meatballs in oil. Add remaining ingredients, except spaghetti. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.Prepare spaghetti and drain. Serve with meatballs and sauce. Top with Parmesan cheese. Yields 4 to 6 servings.
