Spicy shrimp and linguine
Ingredients/Components
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- olive oil - 1 Tbsp
- dried parsley flakes
- crushed red pepper - 1/4 1/2
- stalk celery, sliced - 1 item
- linguine, cooked - 6 oz
- unpeeled medium size fresh shrimp - 1 lb
- medium onion, sliced and cut in quarters - 1 item
- can Italian style tomatoes, undrained and chopped - 1 1/2
How to make spicy shrimp and linguine:
Peel and devein shrimp and set aside. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside. Saute shrimp, celery and onion in oil in a large skillet, about 3 minutes, or until shrimp are pink. Add tomatoes and next four ingredients, stirring well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Toss with linguine. Yields 3 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Shrimp.
