Ingredients/Components

  • oil - 1/4 c
  • applesauce - 1 c
  • ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • ground nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • ground allspice - 1/4 tsp
  • 4 serving size vanilla instant pudding - 1 pkg
  • 2 layer size yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
  • chopped raisins optional - 1/2 c

How to make spicy apple cake:

Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Blend well, then beat at medium speed for 4 minutes. Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes or until tests done and cake begins to pull away from sides of p
