Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cold water - 2 Tbsp
- pecans - 2 c
- slightly beaten egg white - 1 item
- each: cinnamon, cloves and allspice - 1/4 tsp
How to make spiced pecans:
Add water to egg white. Dissolve sugar in egg white mixture. Add salt and spices; mix well. Dip nuts in mixture. Place nuts, flat side down, on greased cookie sheet. Bake in very slow 250° oven until golden brown, about an hour.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Appetizers.
