Spiced pecans



  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • cold water - 2 Tbsp
  • pecans - 2 c
  • slightly beaten egg white - 1 item
  • each: cinnamon, cloves and allspice - 1/4 tsp

How to make spiced pecans:

Add water to egg white. Dissolve sugar in egg white mixture. Add salt and spices; mix well. Dip nuts in mixture. Place nuts, flat side down, on greased cookie sheet. Bake in very slow 250° oven until golden brown, about an hour.
