Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- water - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
How to make spiced pecans:
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium flame with a candy thermometer to thread stage (232°). Remove from flame and add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2 1/2 cups pecan halves. Stir until pecans are well coated and mixture is creamy. Pour onto a greased cookie sheet. Separate pecans as they cool.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Appetizers.
