Spanish tomato rice
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- onions, chopped - 1 c
- can tomatoes - 1 lb
- uncooked rice - 3/4 c
- green peppers, chopped - 1/4 c
- slices cooked bacon - 8 item
- chile sauce - 1/2 c
How to make spanish tomato rice:
Cook onion and pepper until tender in margarine. Add remaining ingredients; cover and simmer 45 minutes. Crumble bacon on top and serve.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, White rice.
