Spanish rice with beef
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1 c
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- chili powder - 1/2 tsp
- can stewed tomatoes - 1 1/2
- ground beef - 3/4 lb
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- Minute rice
- black pepper - 1/8 tsp
How to make spanish rice with beef:
Brown meat, breaking the pieces and stirring about 5 minutes. Add corn, water, tomatoes and seasonings and bring to a boil. Stir in rice. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Makes 4 servings.Microwave Directions: Use a 2-quart nonmetal dish. Break ground beef into pieces and cook at High until meat is no longer pink. Reduce water to 1/2 cup and stir in with remaining ingredients. Cover and cook at High about 6 minutes. Let stand 5 more minutes.
