Ingredients/Components
- salt
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- cooked rice - 3 c
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- slices bacon - 6 item
How to make spanish rice:
Fry bacon in large skillet until crisp. Remove bacon and drain off all but 2 tablespoons of fat. Stir in onion and green pepper. Cook and stir until onion is tender. Crumble bacon and stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Bake uncovered 25 to 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
