Spanish rice
Ingredients/Components
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- can tomato sauce - 28 oz
- ketchup - 2 Tbsp
- prepared mustard - 1 Tbsp
- onion, chopped - 1 sm
- lean ground beef - 1 lb
- black pepper - 1 item
- cooked rice - 3 c
How to make spanish rice:
Saute onion and green pepper in the oil until soft. Add ground beef and seasonings, stirring until meat loses its pink color. Stir in the cooked rice, tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Mix thoroughly. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
