Spanish rice
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 3 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 1 tsp
- hamburger - 1 lb
- rice - 3/4 c
- boiling water with bouillon cube dissolved in it - 1 c
- tomatoes stewed
How to make spanish rice:
Brown rice in oil, stirring constantly; add onion, celery and hamburger and continue browning. Drain all grease. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until the rice is tender.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
