Spanish rice
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water
- oil - 3 Tbsp
- chili powder - 2 Tbsp
- small onion, diced - 1/2 item
- uncooked rice - 2 c
- stalks celery, diced - 3 item
- small bell pepper, diced - 1/2 item
- large can stewed tomatoes or Ro-Tel tomatoes - 1 item
How to make spanish rice:
Brown rice, onion, pepper and celery in oil. Stir in chili powder and salt. Pour in can of tomatoes and water. Simmer 15 minutes. Turn on low heat until done.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
