Ingredients/Components
- uncooked Minute rice - 2 c
- vegetable oil - 1/3 1/2
- chopped green onions - 2 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- cumin - 1/4 1/2
- cans chicken broth - 2 item
- tomato sauce - 1/2 c
How to make spanish rice:
Brown rice in the oil in a skillet. Add the green onions, pepper, garlic powder, salt and cumin to the rice. Add the chicken broth and tomato sauce to the mixture. Cook until tender, covered, for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
