  • large onions - 2 item
  • sweet peppers - 2 item
  • hamburger
  • tomatoes - 2 c
  • raw rice - 1/2 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item

How to make spanish rice:

Chop and saute in oleo the onions and peppers until onions turn yellow. Add hamburger; saute until brown, then add tomatoes, raw rice and salt and pepper to taste. Bake in covered casserole about 1 1/2 hours at 350°. In last 15 minutes, remove cover and brown.
