Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- egg whites, beaten stiff - 2 item
- cold milk - 2 Tbsp
- hot milk
- plain gelatin - 1 pkg
- egg yolks, well beaten - 2 item
How to make spanish cream:
Soak gelatin in cold milk. Dissolve in hot milk. Pour over yolks. Add sugar, salt and vanilla. Cook over low heat until slightly thickened. Fold in egg whites. Pour in mold and chill.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Egg.
