Ingredients/Components

  • ground beef - 2 lb
  • ground lean pork - 1/2 lb
  • bread crumbs
  • chopped parsley - 1/2 c
  • grated cheese - 1/2 c
  • applesauce - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • small can evaporated milk - 1 item
  • garlic powder - 2 tsp
  • tomato puree
  • Accent - 1/4 tsp

How to make spaghetti sauce and meatballs:

Sauce:4 (2 1/2 lb.) tomato puree1 tsp. pepper1/4 tsp. Accent Prepare sauce and let stand while preparing the following: Mix all ingredients together to form meatballs. Shape into desired size meatballs. Brown in 1/2 cup olive oil and about 4 garlic cloves. Add to sauce. Cook about 1 1/2 hours slowly. Add 1 teaspoon baking soda, let simmer 30 more minutes.
