Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water - 1 c
  • garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/3 c
  • Italian seasoning - 1/2 1
  • hamburger - 1 lb
  • tomato sauce - 15 oz
  • stewed tomatoes - 16 oz
  • can mushrooms optional - 8 oz
  • Mozzarella cheese optional - 1 item

How to make spaghetti sauce:

Brown hamburger and onion. Drain. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes until right thickness. If you want to use Mozzarella cheese, stir it in just before serving.
