Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
- 14 oz - 1 lb
- dried oregano, crushed
- snipped parsley
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- dried thyme, crushed - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onions - 1 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- monosodium glutamate - 1/2 tsp
- can tomatoes, cut-up - 1 lb
How to make spaghetti sauce:
In Dutch oven, combine onion, meat and garlic; cook until meat is browned and onion tender. Skim off excess fat, remaining ingredients and 2 cups water.Simmer, uncovered, 3 hours or until sauce is thick. Stir occasionally. Remove bay leaf.
