Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- water
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped fresh parsley - 1/4 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- dried oregano - 1/2 tsp
- green pepper, finely chopped - 1 item
- dried sweet basil - 1 tsp
- fennel seed - 1/4 tsp
- can tomatoes, undrained - 1 oz
- clove garlic minced - 1 item
- very lean ground beef - 1 lb
How to make spaghetti sauce:
Brown meat, onion and green pepper. Drain off fat. Add all other ingredients. Cover and simmer about 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Yields 6 servings.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Italian.
